• Maintain frequent and timeous monitoring of operating systems. • Grade 12 - (essential). • Exposure to monitoring and operational tools such as SAP and Linux - (beneficial) • Proficiency in MS Office 365 with basic Excel skills – (essential).
• Support the team with Monitoring and executing system backups.
• Monitoring of store data interchange.
• Assist with recovery of data and disaster recovery.
• Support generator and UPS testing.
• Proactively work to support the team in the achievement of ensuring backup media is moved offsite.
• Ensure operation of network and system monitoring systems for stakeholders.
• Continuously monitoring of client’s infrastructure.
• Timeously responding to exceptions according to SLA.
• Participate in System and Server Monitoring.
• Develop an awareness of a wide spectrum of IT technologies.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities when requested.
• Certificate, Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Database or a related field - (beneficial)
