Job Summary
Ideal candidate will be a logical/analytical thinker with exceptional numerical skills, and a methodical person with an eye for detail, a well-spoken person that can build a positive relationship with clients.
This person must also be willing to go the extra mile and be committed to the company.
• Assisting in the process of selecting and procuring mechanical equipment.
• Achieving the asset mechanical reliability (AMR) business objectives as well as assisting the Operations team in meeting asset capability (AC) objectives.
• Participating in and assisting with developing and maintaining equipment strategies.
• Providing assistance in the development and implementation of preventative measures for existing structural conditions.
• Providing technical knowledge to the Technical team regarding reliability improvements, repairs, troubleshooting and equipment design requirements.
• Liaising with the Engineering Manager within the Engineering and Projects Drawing departments and completing any tasks assigned.
• Assisting with developing and evaluating solutions for most effective technology (MET).
• BEng. degree in Mechanical & Mechatronic Engineering is essential.
• Previous experience in plastic injection moulding is not essential.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills are essential.
• Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Must be organised with good planning and administration skills.
• Must have a technical sales personality with an ability to work in a team.
• Must be open to a rotational training programme, where the candidate will be working in projects, technical, maintenance and production.
• Candidates must live within the area or be willing to relocate closer to the company.
