Position Title : Internship – Eastern Region (Port of Durban & Port of Richards Bay)

Position Purpose:

To enhance and gain meaningful workplace exposure and experience for 24 months in their respective fields or related

discipline to complement their studies as required by Transnet National Ports Authority.

The Programme will address issues of Youth unemployment.

Position outputs:

The Intern shall perform all such duties which he/she may reasonably be required to perform by Transnet National Ports

Authority for purposes of training and development applicable to the specific discipline or related disciplines as determined by

the inerns qualification and Transnet National Ports Authority requirements.

Devote the whole of his/her time and attention to the performance of his/her duties during normal working hours and after

normal working hours when required to do so;

Adhere to and observe all reasonable directions and instructions given to him/her from time to time;
Serve Transnet National Ports Authority well and faithfully and use his/her best endeavours to promote its interests;
Exercise the utmost good faith towards Transnet National Ports Authority in carrying out his/her duties and in all dealings
Comply with the provisions of all legislation applicable to the execution of his/her daily duties.
